So here we are again.

You're stuck here and I'm going there. The wind is blowing in your hair and the sun is setting fast; I can remember similar scenes in all those movies you love. How befitting. With few words left, I don't have much to say. All I know is this throbbing and beating in my heart, has never been so fast, so vivid. It hurts, knowing that I'll be on a train fast out of this one beat town, and you'll be stuck here.

But baby I'm going to make it big.

I'm out to change the world; bulldoze it down and build an empire just for you. Where nothing can hurt us. Where you and I can be us. Where two people of the same sex can hold hands. Where you can let your wall down, and let the surroundings in; and I promise the snow will fall all around.

So don't be sad when I'm gone. I promise I'll be back, ragged and worn, but a smile from you is all I need to get by on.

The world will be our Taj Mahal.

I'll embrace you in public and we'll walk down the streets together, like we always dreamed. And I can say those three words I've written in our "secret notes". Those words that I dare not speak aloud, for fear of being heard.
