I was clearing the dining room from lunch today, and realized I was singing "Reflection" from Mulan, except I was making up new words as I went along. Which I usually do anyway, but these I managed to get the gist of, so here it is - a song to the tune of Reflection. Which I don't own. And I have no idea what to call it. 'Confusion', maybe? Or 'Desperation'.
Anyway, the story of the song is some girl who has to choose her life path/mentor/role model/special power/etc., which is a major rite of passage, and she has no clue what to do about it. She pretty down about it.
Who is this girl I see?
Staring straight back at me.
I do not know who I am supposed to be.
Where I'm supposed to be,
In this life given to me.
Nothing seems to make any
Sense anymore.
Nothing seems to make any
Sense anymore.
