Um...something I wrote a while ago when I was feeling slightly depressed, because I hadn't heard from my best friend for ages.

When I hear gentle music,

When I see your picture,

Hear your name,

I’ll remember you then.

If I fall ill,

I’ll remember you still.

If the world turns upside-down,

I’ll remember you still.

If I meet new friends,

Go new places,

Learn new things,

I’ll remember you still.

If I never hear from you again,

Your voice or your words,

I’ll still remember you then,

Though I will be broken inside.

I’ll remember you always, my friend,

But will you always remember me too?
