I'm a dragon lover, I literally worship the wyrms.

I was thinking about how knights fight dragons, how it's honorable, noble, chivalrous... There's nothing honorable, noble, or chivalrous about it.

I was thinking about how it's a lose-lose situation. It can take hundreds of lives to kill a single dragon, it's a waste.

The Dangers of Dragons

There is no style, there is no grace

but those dangers,

dragons faced.

--

Barely dodging their ember claws

just avoiding,

burning maws.

--

Arrows rebound off shining mail

ducking under,

lightning tail.

--

Men flee at the thunderous roar

littering fields,

blood and gore.

--

There is no style, there is no grace

in those dangers,

dragons faced.

Tell me what you think.
