about nature/ the lack of it. This is what I call a pretty, powerful paragraph. You can decide if you agree. ;

These are the stars of the 21rst century. Jewellery strung along the horizon line, seductive to the eye, dangerous to the heart. These are the results of a century of industrialization, stars blinking innocently in an array of shades, cantaloupe orange, bright white, colours contradicting an arguably negative existence. You, stand there. I, stand here. And we look at these orbs of light, surrounded by the mouths of flames and the melancholy ripple of polluted waters. They are so beautiful. Exhaust creeps strangely into our throats and the cold night air seems to pierce relentlessly. Cars whir by in their expected hurry, whizzing and screeching and booming with heavy beats. Still we look, making out the constellation of 'man's corruption". We grin at the 'filthy way'. In. Which. We. All. Live. You and I are posed looking off of Burlington's Bristol Bridge. We are not looking up, we are looking out. For there is nothing really to see up there anymore…except for dark like the inner lid of a sad immense box . We are mesmerized by the stars generations like ours have created through taxes and acceptance of man made constructs. We grin out at them as they glimmer and twinkle… and as our grandparents look hopelessly to the sky.

If you're confused/ would like an explanation here it goes : When I was travelling to Brock tonight I was mesmerized by the city lights which I saw when I looked out from Brulington Bristol Bridge. It struck me as ironic that these were the lights of the night which made me smile. This piece is quite complex, this is just a brief summary.
