Taking My Own Sweet Time
The
work is piled in front of me,
Its
growing day by day.
Yet
out of the corner of my eye I see,
Something
else to play.
Every
minute crawls by slowly,
My
mind is going crazy.
I
sense my fingers reaching gradually,
My
brain growing lazy.
I
can't help it, it's just here,
So
easy, so close and so fast.
I left my homework over there,
And
gave in at last.
AUTHORS NOTE// I just love to procrastinate. There's always so much other things to do besides work, you know? And it just frustrates me sometimes. My parents always tell me I can concentrate if I try -- but sometimes I just can't. So Mom & Dad, this one's for you!
