Dear Cutter/Dear Razorblade
03/03/08

Dear Cutter,

Come to me,
Let me make you beautiful,
I'll make you strong,
Protect you when they shun
That pretty smile.
They don't care anyway,
Your worthless to them,
Dirty, insignificant, hopeless.
Come to me love,
I'll set you free,
Make you real,
Give you hope,
Make you strong.
I'll keep you with me darling,
Safe and sound.
I'll never let you go.

x.Razorblade

Dear Razorblade,

You lied.
It dark and scary here,
In this depressive hole.
I'm not beautiful,
Or strong,
Or real, or free.
I'm broken, and hurt,
And oh so afraid to feel,
To breathe and be alive.
I miss the sun on my face,
And The sound of my laughter,
Echoing through the silence.
I miss me.
Razorblade, you deceive me.
My friends and family,
They do care.
They cry for me,
Tears of fear
Tears of hope that,
Someday I'll no longer be an addict.
No longer be your puppet.
No longer your fool.
I hate you razorblade,
For you are wrong.
And I will win, and be free
Of this self-inflicted violence.
Someday.
Soon.

x.Recovering.
