just a smile
from your lips
makes my
sun shine

you whisper
sweet nothings
into my ear
and our hands
intertwine

the look from
your eyes wipes
my tears away
and the sound
of your voice
makes me want to stay

we both love the
taste of raindrops
and yearn to catch all
the colors of a rainbow

so let's kiss the sun
with our eyes
one last time

dream of infinity
and remember this rhyme

and as night plummets,
i wish on a falling star
just to see your smile
and make my sun shine
another day more
