Hypocrites 101

Quick note: Two swear words, so watch out. Any parents out there will definitely be insulted by this.

Adults are allowed to be hypocritical
Tell you one thing, do another
"do as I say, not as I do"
Because only they can be hypocritical

Dad yells when he wants you to be quiet
"Don't ever fucking swear at me again."
Teacher says be silent, cracks a joke
But no child is ever hypocritical, much

Don't go into a job you will hate
They hate their job every day
Don't do a job that doesn't pay
They make minimum wage, sometimes

Go to school, get an education
They dropped out at sixteen
Don't have sex before you're ready
They're seventeen years your senior

Hypocrites, all of them,
"Listen to me when I'm talking to you."
Mom, I'm in trouble
She doesn't hear

Tell you to learn from their mistakes
They didn't even do that
The same mistakes again, and again
Same damn hypocritical life

But don't worry your pretty little head
Because only adults are Hypocritical
And there are always children around
Although, they do grow up

If you learn one thing from your parents
It will be 'Hypocrites 101'
So that you can inflict that on your children
