descent

you've lost your hold on
the heaven&stars

but one gentle grasp
with delicate hands,
pulls you back
into the sky

"don't let go"

feather glow in perilous dreams
were you the one
in disillusion-
fated upon sun kissed cheeks
& a beautiful smile

whispering reality
she asks, "will you mourn for me
when i die"

while those tears flow
with the taste of salt/
&scent of early morning rain
cascading
down&down

(after all,
she was no angel
descending below)
