Treason

My friend, I think we’ve done too much,
Maybe not enough. Oh girl, you lie,
And hide. Now forgiveness is not
An option, for you. Liar, liar,
Pants on fire. Deny, deny,
Burn these bridges. Keep that chasing guilt
Away. My comrade, come, smile, laugh
This struggle off. See their faces,
Eager, waiting. Manic laughter bubbles
From you. I—no we—cower. Forgive me,
I’ve never known you. Weak bonds
Have been worn. ‘Til transparency, Baby.
My sister in war, I think you’ve fallen
Too far. Broken wings of the angel
That was never meant to be.
Crack the whip, gnash of teeth; let them
Bow before you. As I, your second,
At your side, usher them secretly
Out the door. My confidant, I am so
Treasonous. So slyly, passively,
Uncharacteristically, happily, sorrowfully,
Treasonous.

A/N: What do you know, ANOTHER angsty poem about my pathological liar friend. XD She seems to be the center of my angst. lol. I talked to her the other day, through email, and she seemed somewhat normal. Yayness. Maybe she's (more-ish) mature now. Hope you like it. I do:D
