It burns.

The loud crunch

Adrenaline starts flowing

I’m scared.

Sled in hand

Dignity in tact

I sit

I see hills

Terrifying, huge, hills

Heart racing

Gloves on tight

Toboggan pulled low

I go

I gain speed

Slicing a path

It’s crazy

The sled slows

I lean forward

It’s over.
