Vultures circling up ahead

The media wanting to get feed

The politicians fight, on they drone

Deaf to distress, their country’s moan

America’s eagle cutting deep

Draining resources, while we sleep

Carbon is gathering in the air

But the ones on top they just don’t care

The world is burning to the ground

The adults blind in sight and sound

The children see, unbiased and sure

-of corrupted nations and so much more

“so young!” they say “they cannot know”

But we do, we do, it’s not a show

Our minds are free of adults’ worry and stress

So we notice how the worlds a mess

But nobody thinks to ask us so-

-how can we make an impact on,

This world that will one day be ours

We must sit and wait till those final hours

But all in all we are just kids

It’s not our fault the worlds how it is

But it is our world so please take care

To clean the earth and clear the air
