The moon shone full and luminous over head,
The wind was piercing and cold,
All thought of safety fled,
As his body began to mold,
A howl echoed sharply in the night,
As his body reared,
His adrenaline was getting ready to fight,
And his violent teeth were speared,
I rose up on my two back legs,
Adrenaline was high,
I listen to her as she begs,
But I couldn’t let this lie,
I watched from the window as I bled,
As he howled towards the moon,
My stomach filled with dread,
This had happened much too soon.
