Kiji and Juusan slept in the glory of winning the first battle, but the war was far from over.

He experienced more of the strange dreams.

The dark tophatted figures marched through a small Japanese village. They wore the same things that David did. Infront of the marching crowd was a young lord. He was Japanese. The Ookami crest was embroidered in his hakama.

The villagers ran and screamed in panic. The dark figures drew their mosaic guns and fired at them. Old, young, man, woman, they killed them all. The dark crowd simply walked over all of the bodies.

As the young lord walked closer and closer to Kiji, the more he resembled Kamisama-san. The lord stopped right infront of him, and bore his eyes into him. Kiji whimpered softly. He slid a magnificent red and gold blade out of a scabbard, held it over his head and swiftly brought it down.

"Ack!!" Kiji sat up in his futon covered in a cold sweat. He was relieved to find a regular room filled with blue moonlight.

Juusan moaned a bit, then rolled over to face him.

"What...?"

"N-Nothing. It's nothing. A bad dream..." Kiji lay back down facing the other way. Juusan fell back to sleep. "It was just...a dream..."

"Kiji-san. David would like to see you."

'Kiji-san...? When did people start calling me that? Oh, right. I won the battle...'

Kiji sat up sleepily. He rubbed his eyelids in the sunlight that lit up his room. Takashi slid the door shut.

"More training? On Break day?" He could tell it was Juusan waking up. "Hardcore. Hey, what's this?"

Kiji opened his eyes finally and saw golden lord robes complete with a Ookami family crest lying on his futon.

"They want me to wear these?"

"No. They put it out for decoration." Juusan spun back around and went to sleep again.

Kiji silently and reluctantly put on the robes and strode down the main hallway with his artillery at the sash. Other students stared silently in awe, or sometimes jealousy. Everyone could smell the awkwardness. He looked like a god, and so much higher than the other kids.

Takashi met him at the end of the hall, and led him to a closet, which he opened. There was a hatch, and he lifted it open.

"David's down there?"

He didn't say anything, and started down the stairs. Kiji followed.

There was a cobblestone path parting two walls of cells, that were empty, except for one, that held a girl his age, in the same type of regal clothing as him. Kiji watched her until they passed her cell.

David was at the end of the hall. Takashi and Kiji stood infront of him.

Without saying a word, David kicked Kiji through a cell door, and when it swung back, he locked it.

Takashi turned with a shocked look.

"Wait! You can't do this!"

And suddenly, Takashi's own blade went right through his stomach, and David disappeared before he collapsed.

"Takashi!!" Kiji ran to the bars, and watched the pool of blood widen, and some of it came through the door.

Tears dropped and splashed into the pool, and for some reason, he touched it with his finger.

He was surprised when he felt something. A point.

Kiji assumed it was something stuck in the ground, so he grabbed it and tugged at it.

It was much longer than he thought. He pulled, until he realized what it was.

"T-The Ookami Blade?!"

It shone in red as he turned it in the light.

"You stupid boy."

Kiji jumped at the voice, and remembered the other person down there.

"Do you really believe the Ninjas are after your clan for whatever reason he's told you?"

He looked over at her cell. She wasn't facing him.

"W-What do you mean?" He asked, forgetting about how a sword miraculously appeared in blood.

"We don't want your damn land," she scoffed.

'We?' Kiji thought.

"That's what happens when you find a threat. You eliminate it."

"What are you talking about?"

She finally turned around.

"I'm the heir to the Hitokage clan, and you don't know anything about this war."
