The expanse of the limbs,

How wide and strong;

The height of the trunk,

A ladder to the sky;

The depth of the roots,

Reaching on forever.

The roughness of the bark,

A building block to a wall;

The veins of the leaf,

Supplying life to the fullest.

Even the smallest parts

Have a job to fulfill.
