You've found me out

I drag my feet.

I simply want

the finished product

But at the start

Of the race called life

My feet didn't move

As the starting gun sounded.

Run as if for gold.

Win the prize!

But thoughts of failure fill my mind.

I'm frozen with fear at the starting line.

Run! Ask! Seek! Knock!

You word is full of action.

Take away my laziness.

I'm running for that prize.

You're waiting for me at the end,

but you're also here, beside me.
