Heavy Burdens break my back

My heavy heart, it beats so slowly.

I lack the flame that I once had

My life is all distraction

Didn't you set the sun in the sky,

and spin the Earth as it does?

Don't the seasons change

with just a word from your mouth?

Why then should I stress?

Why does time wear me down?

I feel like I'm always fighting,

Fighting the raging clock.

I don't control the tides!

YOUR hands move the seas!

Alone, I crash down with the waves,

but you, you designed them.

All the time I thought I owned

I give back over to you.

Loose the clock strapped to my back,

cause it's not mine to carry.
