My Love The Sun

I am nothing and she is the sun
Shining through the darkness
and the clouds of my vision,
a beacon of my joy.

But my sun has faded,
her rays don't find me anymore.
She's in another planet's orbit
and my sky is black.

I have yet to find another sun
to brighten my dismal world.
Instead I have found a few stars
to sprinkle across my sky
and join my moon in lighting the night.
