Lord, You opened your door

I just stood out in the rain.

I've always said "I want more"

But that I don't want it in vain.

So there, cold, I stand

Your house is so inviting

What is it that keeps me

From entering in?

Fear of failure stops my feet.

I threw myself in that rain.

Why can't I just let

You be the judge of me.

"That sin that guilts you?

I took your nails.

Now my door is open,

Please come right in."

You give me strength

My foot moves forward.

Your warmth takes over

as you embrace me

My wet clothes exchanged for robes

Garments of praise cover me.

I'm here! I love you!

Teach me, and love me!
