They Came For Me
Last night, in a flurry of silence,
I summoned the chariots.
With a soft and silent cry of anguish,
I called for them repeatedly.
In the midst of the night,
Where I slept to the tune of minor chords;
They came for me;
Silently and gently they took me away.
I rose this morning to the silence of my breath;
No heart within me remained.
They came in the night and took it for safe guarding.
My chariots came, blazing and fierce.
Somewhere, far away, they have my heart;
It's coupled with my soul; given long ago.
Both safe in a haven far away,
These chariots are ever vigilantly watching.
Last night, in a flurry of silence,
I summoned the chariots.
With a soft and silent anguish,
I promised not to fall so soon again.
