Love

Love is a dangerous game

Always played in a pair

Sometimes it is not fair

‘Tis truly a shame

A game that is a risk

Can never know where it will lead

One or both can mislead

Then pain on either side can consume the heart

One must wonder

Is it worth to take such a chance

Perhaps started with a smile or single glance

But the pain could feel like you have been hit by thunder

Can hit out of nowhere

Leaving you alone and in your sea of tears

Night after night

Until a tranquil breeze comes drying them

Slowly everything moves on

Until you meet the love again

Once more faced with a two sided question

Will you or will you not
