Can’t you all hear
The cries coming from my voice
My tears
They mean nothing to you
The war howling at my window
My love that you never gave
I won’t give to you
You really don’t deserve it
So now
There’s nothing anyone can do
So sleep in all of their lies
That they make us all believe
There’s no more lullabies to close your eyes
“Goodbye”
It was always them that I despised
You don’t care enough for others to cry
“Oh well”
There’s only lullabies to make you cry
“Goodbye”
I’m so insignificant
Darkness sleeping dormant deep inside of me
Why are we hiding away lost
Under the sewers
Shouldn’t we be flying high in the clouds
Perhaps you’d rather remain this way
So many lives have been killed in the field
And who would fight again for something
That has already died
I would have never felt sad at all
You will never make me say
“I’m sorry”
What has happened to light we use to have so long ago
Where’s the lullaby that would tell no lies
“Goodbye”
Why is it me that you all so despise
I don’t feel enough for ‘you’ to cry
“Oh well”
Here’s a lullaby to blind your eyes
“Goodbye”
There’s a lullaby that tells no lies
“Goodbye”
But it is much too hard for anyone to find
Only those who can will find the time to find
“Oh well”
Where’s the lullaby that makes us cry
“Goodbye”
“Goodbye”
