Kiss

----

You sit on soft bed, turn with smiling face
Your eyes bright emeralds
brown mixed with shining jade green,
glowing at me with laughter

You reach with elegant hands, long nails
Run soft fingers through
my messy hair, uncombed
You are smiling, and it's beautiful

You lean in, I lean too, our faces nearing
Lips part slowly, eyes slit
thumb with light touch on my ear
Soft hint of lips, so amazing

Pull back, faces red, both embarrassed
For one second, you twitch away
and I fear you are lost
But then you look at my lips

We lean in for another kiss, never come up for air
