Her personality was more garrulous, while his was more reserved. He was the thunder of the darkest night, while she was the Sun's most striking ray.
When he was with her, however, his soul lit up so brightly, it could set fire to the frostiest winter night. The warmth in her eyes melted away his sorrow. Every whisper which left his lips failed to escape her. Every little act of compassion he showed was captured by her mind's camera. He was broken, destroyed and defeated and she was the only one who could mend him. She was the only one who managed to reach out and drag out his personality, which was buried deep inside him. That act of concern brought about such an overwhelming sense of gratitude in him, that words itself could not express that feeling.
To her, he was that drop of rainfall which was savored on the hottest summer afternoon. To him, she was that ray of light that would strike on a numbing winter day. To her, he was the coldest cube of ice which would touch her when she was burnt. To him, she was the warmth that would save him on an empty freezing night. While he was the only one who put her into a dreamless slumber, she was the only one who awoke him from a dreary haze. Her optimistic behavior and his sardonic attitude proved they were two halves of the same whole. There was hardly any sort of utterance between them. But it wasn't communication that built up that massive wall of trust between them. It was love. He believed that he completely belonged to her. She believed that her heart was always with him because she felt considered herself to be non existent without him.
They were as different as sugar and salt, as feather and stone. They belonged to different parts of the Milky Way.
But in the end, they coalesced together with the harmony of The Sistine.
