I want your soul. This one shouldn't be too hard. I need a better source of these. Review with suggestions please!
“Urgh. Go away.” She wanted to tell it. That voice was bothering her for the past… however was disrupting the peaceful darkness. How long would it keep doing this?
“Can you heeeear me? Hellooooo?” God what was hisissue with stretching his vowels? Like she didn’t have enough of a headache. “Aaaaaallison…”
“Go away.” She managed finally. Though she was pretty sure it sounded more like ‘gnnnn wahhhh.’
“It lives!” The boy’s voice called exuberantly. Then more in a snickering tone, he added, “Kinda.”
“What do you want?” She could have asked who the hell he was, but at the moment she was more concerned with getting rid of him. He snickered again. “What. Do. You. Want?” She made sure each word was a clear, seprate sentence, ringing with rage.
Silence. “Your soul.”
Alison was so annoyed at that point that she struck out blindly, meaning to cuff the annoying little devil in the back of the head. Only when she felt her hand go through a thick wet fog did she bother to open her eyes. "Da frick?" The light blinded her on contact with her newly exposed retinas. "Ahhh! Dang! Shit! Ow..." She rubbed her tender lids, listening furiously to the sound of the boy laughing. "Who the hell are you? What are you doing here?"
"You invaded my flying space. I'm supposed to take you back now."
Was it the headache, or did this kid just make no sense at all anyway? "What?"
"Look down."
Allison gingerly opened her eyes and looked around. That's why she had had that floating sensation all through her dream. She was looking down at a cloud. "Oh my God." She screamed, letting loose another steam of laughter from the boy as she shut her eyes again. "What the hell is going on?"
"Heh, oh. None too bright then." The boy snickered, she reached out to cuff him again and experienced the sme feeling of cold as before. She looked over to see her hand in him. "Isn't it obvious? You're dead. So am I, but don't worry. I'll take you to Father, I know the way by heart now."
"I'm not dead! If I were dead- Wouldn't I know it?" Allison argued back. This kid was like, what? Seven? He was telling her she was dead, and she was just supposed to believe him?
"Explain to me how you're floating. You got hit by that kid you were fighting, and he squished your nose into your brain... It made a really cool sound." That wasn't possible! She had to go down and see for herself. She wobbled and tried a swimming motion it the direction of what she hoped would be land.
The boy was suddenly more serious. Fearfull even. "Allison, what are you doing? You can't go back there! Only Gaudian Angels can go back! You'll get stuck!" She pressed on anyway. This kid was dellusional. Or maybe she was dellusional. Either way, there was no way she was about to follow him anywhere. "Allison! No! You can't-" Allison finally broke through the cloud and saw the city below for a moment.
Then, suddenly, she felt weights on her wrists and looked down to see iron shackles against her nearly transparent limbs. She plummeted down as fast as if she were falling, but it was something besides gravity that pulled her. A wave of helplessness wrapped itself around her as she looked back up at the boy, still sitting in the cloud. He turned his face away from hers with grief in his eyes.
