When I'm sitting next to you at the planetarium

I notice that your eyes are shining brighter than the stars above us

The scene turns, and planets whirl by

But you're the center of my galaxy

You smile and it looks remarkably like the explosion

After some sort of super nova in the sky

Your lips are as bright as the red planet

And I can't stop staring as they move with your laughter

It feels as if there's a halo of light around you

Surrounding us like the rings of Saturn

We see the rocks of an asteroid breaking on a distant planet

And I can feel my heart breaking much the same way

Because your smile could move constellations

From their points in the heavens

And though I'd like to dance with your forever

I can't steal you from your home among the celestial bodies

The universe needs your light and your energy

And to ask you to stay with me

Would be like asking a satellite to stop circling

Or asking the sun to stop shining

As the show ends and you stand up

I swear I can feel the earth shaking beneath my feet

You're the black hole at the center of the Milky Way

You pull me in and I can't let go

But I love to watch you spin

Even as my body crashes against comets in your eyes...

A/N: This is dedicated to the one person who I want to be with more than anything but I'm not allowed to love. I miss you.
