I made a fire promise, which is dangerous
I must admit

It needed to be done, with out question
You’ve reminded me of this
When you didn’t burn into one fiery flame

Each time I tried to complete the pact, I had to

Burn it still

Burn the promise, increasing the flame once
More once more

An odd middle shape
The old tinted shade
Of my favorite color left by
The flame

One side reason
One side promise
Our intertwining proceeded

And I burned you again
Again
Again
Again
Until a pinky mark was left

I burned you; burning me too
I made a fire promise, which is pious
I must admit
