Chapter one: Intro

It wasn’t supposed to happen like this.

The galaxy already had problems- the Titikia hierarchy, the Xeopregan famine, planets at war with themselves that no one cared about. Many of these problems are similar to those countries on Earth are facing.

Before, it was obvious that whatever planet you were born on was your species. People born on Titikia were Titikians; Earth borns were Earthlings, etc. There were only a few hundred planets in the Milky Way, and so this theory wasn’t probed much.

The accident started with Dedodakes and Earth, only recently. Dedodakes was a mainly isolated water world, inhabited by several species of humanoids. Earth was inhabited by full-out humans who lived on the land and found eccentric ways to use it to their advantage. In truth, they were very similar. The Dedodakees paid close attention to Earth, fascinated by its diversity and culture.

Maybe the Earthlings found that Dedodakes was watching them, or had an overactive imagination. A new phenomenon arose of humans starting to know about Dedodakes, and slowly developing Dedodakee qualities, both mental and physical. The Dedodakees could not describe it. Their technology was not nearly enough to brainwash or abduct humans, and the government was beginning to have trouble differentiating between these humans and the DESP- a group of Dedodakees sent to Earth to record the culture there.

Avatar Buson, the leader of Dedodakes, presented this bizarre problem to the Titikian Ixax (Ixax is the galactic equivalent of a prime minister). He ignored the problem at first, but as it rose, they could not ignore it any longer, and for one reason.

The majority of the other planets (with the exception of Znotia, the major planet doing alien abductions on Earth) were trying to stay concealed from Earth. They believed that, using evidence from culture-study programs; Earthlings were very stereotypical of Extraterrestrials. They had good reason to believe this. Ever seen War of the Worlds or Independence Day? ETs are almost always portrayed as bloodthirsty creatures with a lust for taking over the Earth. The Titikians also knew how powerful and deadly Earthlings could be when provoked. In short, they were afraid of us. But they’d never let that on to people.

The problem was if these strange Dedodakee- knowing humans spread their knowledge, other Earthlings might follow. Earth technologies had allowed information to spread with just the touch of a button, and half the world could know, they said. And if the humans did believe them, and followed along, they could go searching for these planets, and find them, the galactics- particularly Titikia. The Ixax already knew of a space program on Earth, though he wasn’t sure how advanced it was, the prospect of a highly advanced, isolated culture going after them gave him many sleepless nights.

No, it wasn’t that all the Milky Way planets were unadvanced. Titikia and Malomo, the two ‘leader’ planets of the Milky Way, had very future-esque technologies. They lead with brute force, but deep down, they were weak, especially Titikia. A great empire has many enemies and this held true for Titikia. If their enemies found just one weakness, they would use it against them. Titikia seemed strong on the outside, but deep down, it depended on Malomos economy and armies to protect it. Titikia gave brute orders and Malomo usually carried them out. It wasn’t a slave-owner deal, but more of an alliance. The Titikians gave power and the Malomians gave armies and economy. Without each other, it was a dead empire. This was why no one could know about the Earthlings. And the Earthlings couldn’t know about them.

Clearly, something had to be done.

Meanwhile, back on Earth, the galaxy had secretly given these strange all knowing humans a name- EEDs- Enriched Earthling Dedodakees. They slowly became detached from society, not wanting to get close to Earth or its people because of a strange loyalty to what they believed was their home planet- Dedodakes.

The Titikians had to solve this problem, why these humans knew about them (if they knew about Dedodakes, its one step closer to Titikia, and this too frightened them) and what to do about it.

And they had very bad intentions…

The Dedodakes Chronicles has begun.
