Great Expectations

Whoever said that excellence could not be measured?

It is the addition of numbers and the writing of recommendation letters

It is the talk of a thousand conversations that revolve around a display of achievement

Mine is bigger

Quality or quantity?

Will you have a soul with that intellect?

If two trains leave the train station at the same time, and pie is no longer pastry?

What is a rose by any other name, was written by William Shakespeare

Eternity is infinity, an ever repeating decimal

Can a human be measured by a score?

Five point five points five point, only five points to an A

When I was a little girl I asked my mother what I would be

She said I would be a doctor and marry a handsome Prince with a PHD

And then there was the person, summed up in an application

Ready and packaged it was sent off to the land of university
