Heaven on Earth

This martyr knows no heaven
Just a hope for one at home
That they die is not important
But that they didn't die alone

They know no better place than they ever did before
But if you wanted to honor the ideal
I'm afraid your gonna have to ask yourself a little something more

Why must we die
For something so simple as the food that's on our plates?
Why must we die
For the right to be civil on an international stage?
Why must we die
As our punishment and only means of escape?
And freedom is just as simple as it seems
And compassion is just as simple as it seems
So why should anyone die for humanity?

This martyr knows no heaven

Our solace lays not in where he's gone
But in where his message goes

I wanna see heaven for all nations
