Valentine

Dull-faced teddy bears sit

with their hearts in their paws

silently watching me

with glassy eyes

-

Children, animals and happy couples

(made of ceramics)

stand imprisoned behind glass

red and white follows me

e v e r y w h e r e

-

I want to send a Valentine

from me to myself

- just to prove I was here -

one to the Shadows in my head

and one to the lover

I never had.
