My Fatal Flaw
I love to see the sunshine,
But I hate to see the clouds.
I love to hear your hellos,
And dread the time where we say good-bye.
Do you agree with me?
Or do you just play with me,
Like a small cat does,
With a piece of string?
My feelings run deep,
That's my fatal flaw,
I wear my heart on my sleeve,
So everyone knows that I'm naïve.
I want to be someone,
Have an important role in your life,
Because that would mean the world to me,
And I hope you understand.
I hope you know,
You've stolen m y heart,
And if you give it back to me,
Please, I need it intact.
