Author’s Note: Hey, this is a horribly written out story. I know, and so will you when you’re finished. If you finish it... Anyways, Fantasy War was written over two years ago after my friends and I thought up the idea of this book after blowing up each other on video games. Strange, yeah? Anyway, besides the horrible storyline, introducing characters, creating armies (there are at least seven in this book and they just keep popping up), and my bad language that I made up (yes it’s horrible! Trust me, when you see it you’ll have to reread it at least three times before you understand). So enjoy! Adios!
Chapter 01. Fight for the Leviathan
"Move over there to the left flank, Weston, stop those sniper orc's. Malor get your gattling harpoon gun, and take out that orc that has the grenades'!" Lieutenant General Hayden Adamsky said. "All right now charge!"
He pulled out his two shotgun pistols and shot two orc skirmishers as he galloped over the battlement. Plasma cannons, from the plasma destroyer tank, roar over the sounds of war, as orcs, humans, and elves fought for the downed ship Leviathan. The blast of the plasma destroyer tank shook the earth, making orcs and goblins fall.
"Sir, this is 1st Lieutenant Jessica Lloyd flying in, I have Airmen Alex Klepp and Justin Anderson with me. We're dropping the bomb's now," a woman's voice over commander Adamsky's COM link. "Hit, these orc's won't be using those cyber walkers anymore."
"Good work, Lieutenant. Now I want you to assist Major Watson on the assault on Fort Gilnör. Major Watson said that they need more ammunition. I'll contact the headquarters for more backup."
"Roger that sir. All right boy's let's go!"
Hayden looked up and saw the three stealth bombers fly off to the right. He galloped on shooting orcs or goblins as he went toward Leviathan.
"Headquarters', this is General Hayden Adamsky. I need some more back up; we're almost to the Leviathan. Repeat I need more back up, we're almost to the Leviathan."
Then a voice came over the COM link. "I'm sorry General Adamsky; we are currently not sending any more units out. President K. F. Cooper has reported that we need more units here to protect the city. You must use your own men. Have a nice day."
The connection was closed. Then he turned to his men. "All right let's go! Move it, move it, move it. I want the plasma tank to fire on the goblin's cyber walkers. General Malor you and your men charge on the left flank, Lieutenant Weston right flank, Lieutenant Brown you and your men get out your rocket launchers and fire. And I will take the middle. You men are all the men we have. For our one and only god, we charge and fight like lions!"
The men yelled for encouragement and pulled out their plasma blasters, and fired. Hayden then put his shotgun pistols away. Then he pulled out his bolter. Then he adjusted his legs for seventy-five mph, and then he fired off his gun. Slowly the orc's and goblin's fell back but they had the Leviathan. But he was one of the first to make it. Then he shot down his orc opponents, and then he contacted the men trapped inside the control room.
"Garry, this is Hayden. I am right outside the control room. I have three elves with me, we're coming in. Stand clear of the door."
Then he kicked the door down, inside were three men. One of the elves stood at the door while the other two and Hayden walked over to them. A man with a short beard stood up.
"Hayden, thank goodness you've come. Larson died, but Parker and I we're alright. No orcs' have gotten in this room. The controls for the Leviathan are broken. We have lost the ship. The greatest ship is lost!"
"Garry it's alright, the most important thing is that you and Parker are alive. It's too bad about Larson. Let's go."
The two elves helped the man named Parker up, and they left the control room. Then Garry suddenly said "The information on the Called. It's in the jail room. We need to get it. Come on this way."
"I know the way, Garry," Hayden said. "Well let's go. You three take Parker behind the line's Garry and I will go on. That's an order."
The three elves ran off and Garry and Hayden ran to the jail room. Garry ran over to the cell furthest away from the door. He opened the door and walked in; when he came out he had a chip.
"May I insert it into your leg?" he asked Hayden, and he agreed. Garry knelt down as Hayden bent over and typed in the password. Then Garry inserted the chip. "Now let's go."
Then Hayden's COM link turned on. "Adamsky, this is Weston. You might have a problem, we have retreated and the orc's have placed explosives around the Leviathan. Then they placed some of the dumbest goblins around each entrance. I'll try to pick off some goblins off with my snipers. Hold o-" The connection was lost. "The orc's have blocked out connections," Hayden said to Garry. "We need to get off."
"But how?"
1st Lieutenant Sabin Weston stood there. He had just lost connection with one of his comrades, General Hayden Adamsky. He turned to his elf snipers. "Alright, chaps, I want you to snipe off as many of those bloody goblin's as you can. We have two comrades in the Leviathan." He said in a British accent.
His elves got their guns out and pointed at the goblins, then fired. Twenty goblins fell down. One of the remaining goblins’s lifted his hand to his face. Then his voice could be heard throughout the battlefield. "Count down till detonation. One minute, sixty, fifty-nine, fifty-eight, fifty-seven..."
Slowly he counted down, and everyone stood there. Forty, thirty, twenty. Then Sabin walked over to one of his elves. Gimme' your gun, mate." He said. The elf handed it to him. He aimed at the goblin counting down. On the number eight he said "Eat this."
Then he pulled the trigger. Then the goblin crumbled down onto the ground, and then there was a second of silence. Then there was a blast as the Leviathan blew up, with a mushroom explosion, and a fire ring followed. Pieces flew around but Sabin just stood there. He couldn't believe what just happened; he just sealed his friend's fate. Then an elf tapped him on the shoulder.
“Lieutenant, we should be leaving, the orc's have received back up. Sir we need to go."
But Sabin just stood there. Then he saw the orc's running across the field. He turned around and said the he said "Alright let's go. We'll contact headquarters when we're on the Falcon. Retreat!"
The elves ran back to the ship Falcon, and started it up, and flew off. General Zack Malor and 2nd Lieutenant Seth Brown went on Zack's ship, the Aurora, and went to Fort Gilnör with Major Watson. Sabin flew on to the planet Arisnth, in the city of Neon, where the headquarters' were located. Sabin landed inside of the docking bay in the headquarters.
He landed at bay Z-19, where President K. F. Cooper, General of Army Jared Denison, and six other soldiers where waiting. Sabin walked out of the Falcon, and walked over to the men waiting. General Denison walked up to him and stuck out his hand to shake.
"Well done Lieutenant. I have heard about the victory on the planet Visoff. I heard you got the Leviathan and the men inside. I am going to promote you to Captain. Well done."
"General Denison," Sabin said solemnly "The battle on Visoff was failed. The orc's blew up the Leviathan. We only got one of the three men that where inside. Lieutenant Adamsky and scientist Garry Morre were aboard the Leviathan when it blew. However the battle at Fort Gilnör was a success."
“That’s too bad for Adamsky and Morre. But that’s good we won Fort Gilnör. Come we must get you ready for the promotion.”
Hayden heard a voice counting down. He turned to Garry. Then Garry said. "Well it looks like our fate is sealed."
"Not yet. Doesn’t the ship have an escape-pod?"
"Yes but it's only the size of a human or an elf. Nothing the size of a centaur." "Alright, well you get into the pod. I'll launch you off. But then you need to get away from here. Here take this shotgun pistol; I'll even load it for you. There we go." He handed one of his shotgun pistols and got Garry into the escape-pod. Garry buckled in. Hayden sealed the glass door. Then he went to the control panel, motioned three seconds with his fingers, then he pressed the red button, and then the pod flew out into the sky.
"Twenty-two seconds remaining" came a sound. "Come on half-breed. Come get me."
He turned around; an orc with a battle-axe was at the doorway. The orc snorted and charged, Hayden just had time to jump out of the way then Hayden pulled his shotgun pistol and fired five times. The orc collapsed onto the floor. And Hayden ran toward the wide window
"Fifteen."
"I hope this works."
"Fourteen."
