10-minute hours, 10-second minutes.
Wait and hold me - fermata
rhythms contrasting (song sparrow duet)
staggered not quite synchronized
60 beats of a hummingbird's wing (silence)
cold dark
and beaded eye reflection.
(Do we blink? 32nd notes)
Reflections show it's so hard
to capture one moment still.
even water can't do it
(we're distorted
with wrong notes but
rest)
Flying by with rush of cold
timebirds.
they move too fast
and I'm occupied and cried
over their sweet song.
Missing your 10-minute hours
Your half of our
tied whole-note
(but I could hold it forever).
Time flies.
