The True Imposter of Love

By: SilverIsamu

My body lay

Seeming to be lifeless under the stars

The wind chilling my thought while it caresses my cheek

It is…an imposter of your once

Trembling hand

I used to think it trembled due to the

Love overwhelming your body

A love that would soon escape

And almost if planned,

Would get lost…

But why did it tremble?

Was it as faulty as the mask that

Appeared to be the kind soul of my life

But what really is underneath?

Trembling hands to not lie

Controlling your laughter to keep from

Laughing at how truly naieve I was

I close my eyes

Burning tears turn icy
