Tomorrow Night:

I said I loved you.
You know I did,
But I’ve given that arrow back,
And cupid can’t hurt me again.
Tonight I’ll end it,
I’ll throw the first blow.

My head can’t stay in the clouds,
But with your touch I’m forced into flight.
I love you way too much right now.
I’ll put it off ‘till tomorrow night.

When you answered the door,
My heart caved in.
I knew that I couldn’t hurt you.
So I’ll wait to tell you it’s over.

Every time I turn around,
I seem to fall a little deeper,
Into your arms, out of my head.
It appears you’ve become my keeper.

The keeper of my heart.

In your eyes I seem to drown,
As I surrender to your smile,
And all the remains of my will
Are left in a broken pile.

You know I need to end this,
But every time I try…
I’ll put it off ‘till tomorrow night.

My head can’t stay in the clouds,
But with your touch I’m forced into flight.
I love you way too much right now.
I’ll put it off ‘till tomorrow night
