You made me this way,

You were consumed by anger,

A hideous rage would take over,

And you fits would come thrashing down,

Smiting both me and my brother,

You never really got the message,

You never really understood,

That you hurt us so.

When we were younger you hit us both,

But when we got older,

You only went for me,

Knowing I would not attack back,

Then or now.

Father never knew,

So no one can blame him.

You would fall to the ground crying,

Till your eyes went red raw,

You would scream and shout,

Until you say:

"I love you, and you know that, and you love me too?"

I would just stand there,

Tears coming down,

Nodding with agreement,

Knowing it wasn't even true.

My father showed me kindness,

While you showed me hate.

I'm fourteen now,

I know the signs now,

The next time you would raise your hand,

I'll show you my wrath,

Then you'd be sorry.

I can imagine you now,

Whimpering in the corner,

Your fair skin,

Beaten and bruised.

And if you ask

"Why?"

I'll just turn and say,

"You made me this way..."

And I'll leave you to burn in hell.

Okay, I edited for you guys. Sohope that's better. I did this poem about my mother, please do not flame me for how I feel
