I wrote this for Environmental Awareness, but it kind of came out a little eerie... I don't know, but the message of this is: HELP KEEP THIS FROM HAPPENING!

Doom

Darkness spreads across the sky

Staining the sun black

As the red haze of fury

Bleeds into the moon

Blood falls on the low plains

Corrupting the failing lands

Night swallows the sky whole

No longer confined to its nocturnal prison

Day becomes one with Night

As it breaks beneath the strain of black

Light is slain and Gloom plucks the crown

From Light’s dull, unmoving corpse

Hope and Faith raise their feeble forces

Against the fate of Fury and Doom

But the last vestiges of truth and good

Die, and die, and die

The earth is dying! Global warming, war, pollution, deforestation, erosion, these are all contributing to the destruction of the world. What can we do to stop it?
