Author's Note: This is a song taken from a story I'm in the process of writing.

Gravity, it's pulling me down,
Gravity, it's grounding my feet
Gravity, I'm tied and bound,
Gravity, you got me beat.

My wings are broken,
My bones are shattered
Gravity pulled me from midair, slammed me down to the ground
Can't get up, I'm bruised and battered
I'm right here, but I'll never be found.

Gravity, what goes up must fall
My hopes, my dreams, my soul is gone
No redemption here, no one last call
I'm part of Gravity's game, a captured pawn

We watched as the sun burst,
We saw the glowing shards gravity went to meet
They ripped through my skin, gravity's my curse
My body hangs from these nails, my soul lays beneath my feet.

My wings are broken,
My bones are shattered
Gravity pulled me from midair, slammed me down to the ground
Can't get up, I'm bruised and battered
I'm right here, but I'll never be found.

Gravity, you got me on bended knee
Gravity's affects are all that's left of me.
