A 'thank you or 'good day'
You will never really know
Whose life you may have changed
All it takes is a gesture
Or a small kindly word
You may brighten someone's day
To know that they've been heard
Money doesn't matter
Jewellery is just metal
It's making someone laugh
That truly is special
Opening a door
Asking if all's well
Keeping eye contact
It's all part of the spell
It's really just respect
A little
extra effort
But one day you may find
That it's all truly worth it
