Drabbles of Elle

-- Chapter enO –

“Hey Twitch!” the child’s head turned quickly to the voice that had called it’s name.

The owner of the voice was tanner than “Twitch,” whose skin was only a light tan color, and the reddish-brown hair was a contrast to the bright blond that Twitch was fond of.

“Twitchy, Twitchy, Twitchy.” Red-hair stepped into view, walking briskly up to the blond and pressing their bodies together. Curves pressed against Twitch’s flat chest, and the girl’s voice was light and seemed to be pouting around her words as she said, “You killed the prisoner again.” It was a tone that held not only the light, airy feeling but also the tone of disproval.

You were not supposed to kill the prisoners, after all.

His large smile twitched at the corner and he wet his lower lip. “That one was particularly fun to kill… he bled a lot more than they usually do…”

The girl gasped. “Elle!” she hissed, glancing around, “You’re—“ she was cut off when he pushed her away from his body violently, and she stumbled to regain her balance.

“Don’t call me that.” He hissed, fingering a pouch that rested on his hip, his smile wide and his eyes sharper than any knife he could carry.

The girl seemed to shiver, but not from the cold. Her blue, two-toned eyes were wide and slightly fearful. “T-Twitch, I…” she gulped.

Twitch seemed to have calmed down, though the sharpness in his eyes and smile did not fade away. “Not today,” he said, turning from her. “I’m Twitch, today.”

The girl could only nod.

It was not a wise thing to do, getting the one called “Twitch” upset. Not a wise thing to do, at all.
