When I look into your eyes,

I always wonder

If I’ll be able to handle

What I see reflected.

Maybe I’m the one who’s empty,

Filling up your pupils with black,

My false smile melting away

Under your gaze.

I can’t look away.

I wonder if you see

The same things

I do.

Lord knows

It makes me avoid

Your eyes

As often as possible.

But it can’t be your fault

Completely…

I have

These feelings to blame…
