You deserve so much more

Than I could ever give you.

Every time we pass a beautiful woman,

I turn to you and say,

“You deserve that.”

You deserve so much more

Than I could ever give you.

When a girl makes you laugh until you cry,

I grin at you and say,

“You deserve that.”

You deserve so much more

Than I could ever give you.

If I’m too mean when I’m teasing you,

I cover my face and say,

“You don’t deserve that.”

And you say you don’t want “that”,

(But you should)

You love ME,

(But you SHOULDN’T)

You don’t care to compare people.

I only compare myself, not you.

I love you completely.

I don’t want you airbrushed.

I love every imperfection on you body,

Because they make you you.

But I’m too much of a loser to say this.

Maybe one day I will.

What if you laugh at me?

What if you push me away?

Worst of all, what if you felt the same way?
