Push Back

Freestyle

Tomorrow was yesterday’s borrowed dream

But pardon me

It’s not your or us but we

Weaving reality with the lies of the obscene

I’m done with this scene

See, I’m being seen as if I’m serene

But I’m about to careen

Off the track

With adversity I’m back to back

Taking flack for the facts

Fact is I’m not falling for that

It’s time to make a change

Yet pressure’s on us now

The differences enraged

Dragging us back to hell

Perseverance is the answer

But as for this mass herd

There is no master

Just some bastard trying to get the last word

We don’t appreciate our sentence

Sometimes the answer isn’t asked, it’s

Attacked as malicious

Truth is always in existence

It can be masked behind vengeance

It’s never a hindrance

Unless lies try to blend in

Time to take back our lives

Straight ahead is the entrance

Enter at your own risk

And Freedom can be endless
