Rain
The trickle of the rain seems to make the pain subside.
If feels as if for one moment I have nothing left to hide.
I listen to the tapping as I recap the entire day.
I find myself not questioning the things I didn't do or say.
With eyes wide shut I lay there, taking in the sounds.
The trickle of the rain makes it seem like no one is around.
