Dead Until Dark

Inside this carbon body,

I am dead and dark.

No life is brought to me,

Unless I take it by force.

Human blood doesn’t run through my veins,

The blood of immortality does.

But human blood is what sustains me.

When the sun rises, I’m dead.

I’m dead until dark.

When the sun fades and the moon rises,

I become real,

I am brought to life from the, “virus”.

But truthfully,

I am always dead.
