I miss you,

The trips to the store and you'd get me anything.

Or how every other weekend I'd go to your house.

I miss you,

How you'd kiss me goodnight,

Or watch Nickelodeon with me.

I miss you,

And the puff of cigarette smoke that floated in the room.

How no matter what you were there.

I miss you,

And how I never got to say goodbye,

Never send you that Christmas card I drew you,

Never got to see you that summer.

I miss you,

When we first moved here,

When it was not a year after you were gone.

I miss you,

As I sit here two hours away from being 18.

I miss you,

Because it was you who helped me here,

It was you who help us all here.

I miss you,

Everyday and I hope your proud of me.

I miss you,

And I'll never forget your smiling face,

And how close we were.

I miss you..

Grandma I miss you.
