Can’t fight this rising feeling.

Can’t stop the pain from flowing.

Jumping inside my skin

I know of only one way,

Now I’m alone and scared.

Images flashing in my mind.

Sickness rising in my body.

I know I can’t stop it,

There is no fighting.

I give in and let it flow.

Washing over me,

Like darkness over my skin,

In my mind and through me.

There is no guilt

There is no shame

Just calm…

Before the next storm.
