Stupid computer.
Random Thoughts Yet Again:
Quirky Machines
"Rghh, stupid pile of crap..." Bitten mumbled, closing her computer's screen.
"What's the matter?" Ryu asked, watching with curious eyes.
"The dumb thing is stuck on number lock," Bitten growled, showing Ryu. "Look, this is what I failed to write: 'And B5tten ha--53y h4gged C35c2y, and a33 6f the 5ts were ha--y.' It looks like I'm swearing or something! It's supposed to say, 'And Bitten happily hugged Clicky, and all of the Its were happy.' I just wanted to relive old memories!" she sobbed.
"Oh." Ryu scratched her head. "Have you tried resetting it? That sometimes works," she suggested.
"That only works when it freezes up, like it did last week..." Bitten rolled her eyes. "Y'know, it did something else really weird, too...I was looking through a file called 'Windows,' and I was just clicking random buttons, like I sometimes do...and suddenly, the screen flipped! Like, seriously, it flipped upside-down! I couldn't figure out what the heck happened! I had to go for a week or something typing without being able to read what I wrote! I eventually found the button and got the screen back to normal, but still. Who comes up with making a button that flips your screen upside-down? That's just nuts."
"No kidding."
Wonderous stories of my lovable MobilePro mini compy. Yes, I love it...when it works.
"Y'know, we have a bunch of other weird machines, too..." Ryu contemplated, musing. "Like, the phone that doesn't work when you use the microwave, and the TV that turns off if you press the "Down Volume" button..."
"Oh, yeah, and the remote that has two off buttons, except only one works to turn the TV on and one works to turn it off?" Keanu added, suddenly appearing. (in a puff of smoke!)
"Heh, Hamlet and I were laughing about that...and I thought that it would be a complete set if we get an oven or something that turns on when you flush the toilet!" Bitten cackled.
And so the three of them laughed about their quirky machines.
